Japan Visa Guide:
Do you need one?
Japan's visa requirements depend on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay. Here is a summary of the official rules from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
General guidance only — entry requirements change frequently. Verify with official Japanese government sources before traveling.
1. Visa Exemptions (Short-term)

90-Day Limit
In most cases, you can stay for up to 90 days without a visa.
* Note: Some countries have 15 or 30-day limits. Always check the current list on the MOFA website.
